June 29Jun 29 This whole country revolves around luxury boomer communism at this point. We are a nursing home with nukes and 40 trillion of debt
June 29Jun 29 Ill wait for my next lecture from yet another boomer who lived his whole life on easy street. ***** first.
June 29Jun 29 Biggest horror to a boomer is getting an offer of 898k for their 900k house they paid 80k for in 1987 and dud nothing to and will be a gut job
June 29Jun 29 Boomers had near zero competition with the following: automation, AI, foreigners, outsourcing and im sure there are others. But yes life was so hard for them. Pulling up the ladder behind them must have been a real backbreaker

Pulling up the ladder behind them must have been a real backbreakerCertain people will blame others for their failures. Other people will work once they get their working papers, ( you know the type). When you see a person living in a nice place, think a little, and see if you can come to a conclusion that maybe just maybe, they worked 15 hours a day building something. Some may have sacrificed for others. Not good to blame a bunch of people born in a certain decade. The state of the world has always sucked.Sorry.
June 29Jun 29 @Sundog 9955HX3D/5070 Ti vs. i9-275HX/5080Same price, but both have trade-offs. This is such a tough decision lol. Only the 5080 variant has an OLED display, but I hate the burn in risk on a laptop with static HUD's on a program. I need another opinion

I need another opinionMan I love OLED so much I think I'd buy that if given the option. Think of how much enjoyment you'll get out of that screen before it even (if it does) becomes a problem years from now. You'll probably want another laptop by then anyway! HahaPlus there are a bunch of burn in mitigation techniques now such as pixel shifting and that will buy you some time.

IPS is the only panel type that doesn’t bother my eyes. The Lenovo one I was looking at is also glossy and not matte

Glossy IPS is a fine compromise anyway, a significant part of the contrast loss comes from the matte texture.

June 29Jun 29 Not if they really did ruin the country. And it wasn't all boomers, or only boomers. Part of silent generation bares blame as well.Somehow during their reigning years all institutions were ideologically captured by lunatic leftists, therefore brainwashing young people into hating their own race, culture, country, etc., shipped the vast majority of all working class jobs that paid a good wage to the third world and flooded the country with people completely different from traditional American values. We didn't get here by coincidence.
