We can stop hiring foreigners, but I really don't think there's much we can do about hiring people in foreign countries (outsourcing).
As soon as technology made it viable to talk easily to people in other countries, that was coming.

Not much you can do about that when wages there are so low.

And I support tariffs. I love tariffs. I worked in manufacturing for years, ive see how unregulated trade destroyed this country. Unregulated free trade took away decent jobs for people who didn't need a degree and they could move up into management at some point too. Now many of those jobs are gone. All that left is minimum wage retail, fast food or welfare. Many are on drugs. Ive been to Gary, ive been to Youngstown. All those places used to be huge industrial centers. Now there's nothing there.
