Daily climo reports for NYC & EWR were both 90 before 5pm as well. NYC has to get their 90 degree days in before the leaves are out haha.

79 today at JFK and 90 at Central Park. Insane.

yes it was the earliest date for the warmest temperature of the year...2009 tied for the warmest of that year...

the 90 came between hours...

72 for a low at Central Park on April 16 is criminal.

I had to go to Queens last night and I was absolutely broiling.

Today will be out last day with temperatures in the 80’s with highs in some valley spots getting within a couple degrees of 90. We fall back into the 70’s tomorrow and Saturday before we fall back below normal by Sunday through next Tuesday. Some shower chances later tomorrow and a better chance on Saturday night. We could have some freeze or frost concerns by Monday night into Tuesday morning.

61 here last night, but just hit 80 already. Should be my first 90 today unless high clouds roll in like yesterday. Got to 88.

Too hot now I miss Tony calling for 20s.

I actually did take the cover off. I suspected I had a leak at the end of the season, and it turns out I did. Since the cover is off and the patches seem to be holding and I filled it to the correct level now, the pool guy I am hoping comes back in a few days to do a real opening. I don't plan on turning the heater on or swimming for at least a month though, lol
