Feenstra was the Jeb Bush of candidates in this race though. Guy had a terrible personality. Was a typical establishment skin suit and probably thought that just because he had Trump's endorsement it meant he didn't have to do anything

A special election is guaranteed to be held in New York next year. Democrats have officially moved forward with efforts to erase four GOP seats by 2028. The independent commission, which was never truly independent, will remain intact, but the state legislature will be allowed to completely bypass it and pass new maps with a simple majority vote for the next census (just a facade/excuse to claim "democracy!"

It passed the legislature, and now it must be passed again during the next session before being approved by voters on a random day in a random month. Identical to VA. New map will be in place for 2028. New amendment allows mid redistricting and eliminates partisan redistricting

None. The amendment clearly states that partisan redistricting will be eliminated. Hochul packed the Court of Appeals with judges favorable to her. Those who rejected the original 2021 Hochulmander retired or were forced to resign and were replaced by partisan hacks. They already tried to eliminate the Staten Island district this year, but SCOTUS stopped them, which proves Hochul’s nominees will greenlight anything.

Vote the referendum down when it’s on the ballot to amend the state constitution allowing it move forward.
