Section 8 is AWFUL. Let's be honest, almost ALL of these people have no drive to do anything of sustenance in their lives, let alone communities. They DO however add to almost all negative metric in a significant to substantial way. Tumbling the towns value and the like. This isn't racist, this is FACT. Words talk, numbers SCREAM. These are not in any way shape or form good for improving a commuties quality of life or safety. Why should they try? Why work harder or behave to start paying for your stuff when you can just leech you're entire lives at our expense?

I'll add to the Section 8 disadvantages. Me working in a supermarket, every store i have been in, even my current one, the VAST OVERWHELMING majority of our shoplifting and theft come from these communities and our criminal run ins too. With NYS'S laws they get let out and SURPRISE they do it. Again. And again.

In Lincoln they passed a law that landlords cannot discriminate against Section 8 vouchers. Its dumb as hell. Ive only got 4 units (a 3 plex converted house and a single family house) so im pretty small where I can still get away with refusing but this really screws over the guys who own apartment complexes. I know a guy who owns several decent sized complexes with about 150 units each and he really doesn't want this because Section 8 people destroy everything and they can call an authority to come in and inspect if you dont fix the shit they broke. There is also a much more complicated eviction process.

White single moms are by far the most destructive tenants. If you rent to one with pets youre at a minimum going to be replacing carpet, molding and large areas of drywall.
