Come on, these polls are just garbage, and I don’t even think I need to elaborate based on past polling. Democrats are not sweeping both chambers, nor governor races like in Ohio or Florida. The generic ballot sits at D+5, which is 3 points more Republican leaning than in 2018. The only Senate seat Democrats are flipping this year is North Carolina. NH is a sleeper for Rs and MI as well if Democrats pick Stevens as their nominee.

You would need a 1994 style revolution for Democrats to win in a true landslide, which some betting markets stupidly suggest. Special elections also mean nothing, because they have never once accurately projected the outcome of a future general election.

Collins is winning reelection. They already tried to unseat her in 2020 against a strong candidate and failed, and this year she is facing either an actual Nazi or an old unpopular governor - not to mention that she was expected to lose by over 8 points back then. Approval ratings do not matter because the environment is too polarized and never once mattered since 2022.

If any future U.S. administration ever agrees to pay Iran for humanitarian or civilian infrastructure, which is a facade for nuclear ambitions then they would have lock me up for tax evasion because I don't want a single tax dollar from me being sent there
