the radar last night looked juicy...I'm not convinced the models will be right...either way the weekend is ruined...

It was supposed to still be drying up at this point. In fact, I think it's ahead of where it should be.

Daily climo reports for NYC & EWR were both 90 before 5pm as well. NYC has to get their 90 degree days in before the leaves are out haha.

Yea I just checked and the Euro has the heaviest stuff tonight into tomorrow morning.

Models didn't have a lot for his morning if anything so you are correct.

Maybe it got delayed? I thought a few days ago Saturday would be a deluge.

Yes, it trended slower over the last few days, but overrunning has arrived ahead of schedule, as always.

Euro did cut back some, hopefully it’s a last minute trend

It's been happening every storm with the last minute cutbacks. But this time at least the cutback still brings a decent soaking and not 0.10

Temperatures across the area have dropped into the 40's after a midnight high in the low 50's. Today will be breezy and raw with rain increasing as we move through the afternoon and especially tonight. Most of the steadiest rain should exit Chester County to the east by later tomorrow morning. Most areas should see around an inch of rain by tomorrow afternoon. Some showers will continue on Monday begore we finally dry out on Tuesday. We briefly warm up to above normal temperatures by Wednesday before we trend back to below normal temperatures by the end of the week and into next weekend.

Yankees could have played today with HRRR having a tenth of an inch forecasted through 23Z.

NYC might have a min below 60 today...feels cool after the warmth we just had...it doesn't compare to some other years...1961 and 1967 had days with a max below 50...now that's cold...

last of the record low max days below 60...

5/25/1967...46 max...

5/27/1961...47 max...

5/30/2021...51 max...

6/13/1982...55 max...

6/19/1935...59 max...

6/20/1958...59 max...

6/23/1918...59 max...

6/24/1940...59 max...

7/06/1956...61 max...lowest for July...

Well, at least we are going to get some rain. We won’t get shut out this time. If I can get an inch where I am, I would be happy.

Pluckemin? That isnt too far from me, like 20 minutes. I worked near there for years. I think its still ok, but condos right off of 202 I think the Kings in whitehouse is still there is its the one on route 22.

My grandmother of my father side used to live in Livingston, New Jersey on Northfield Road. She was about a quarter of a mile from the ShopRite. I used to go to the Turtleback zoo with her. That area used to be polish in German but now from what I hear there’s a lot of of it Chinese and other oriental in there as well.

Not even that bad out… it’s that annoying still gonna ruin your plans but not a washout so far

last year NYC got over an inch of rain on the 22-23rd and had a max of 51 on the 22nd...if it rains enough tomorrow NYC could have a max in the low to mid 50's tomorrow...
