If we do it now, we can get it done way before the midterms. If the Iranians close up the Strait of Hormuz again, the prices will go back up anyway.
So what's the difference at this point?

You can't come to an agreement or compromise with people who would relish in the demise of our country. Once upon a time the Democrats were a normal party where we would disagree on small difference

If Iran closes off the Strait again, prices go up. We sit there negotiating for months and prices stay high.

OR
We bomb the shit out of them for a week unitl they surrender. Prices go WAY up for a week and then WAY WAY down.

Which do you think would work better?

CNN analyst claims market data doesn't support $3 gas until 2032 but it's also CNN so it's probably wrong

With the drop we just had, 3.50 is supportable here in a week, so I don't believe one word of that.

It is going to come down to that. There’s going to be another major bombing campaign there has to be.

Iran must be pummeled into the ground to the point where they have nothing to do, but surrender. That’s the way it is. Everything else is the Disney World Mickey Mouse, Sesame Street solution.

Agree.

And who will be blamed for a world on fire?

The world along with 150 million Americans will blame America and Israel for the unrest and destabilization in the mid east.

We have no choice.

This one of the stupidest things I've ever heard

Half the GOP is lobbying against it because they don't want oil prices to rise any further before the midterms, fearing that voters will vote Democrat out of spite. The generic ballot is bluer than it was in 2018 as it sits at 7.7 points which is almost on par to 2008, even though I believe the polls are underestimating Republicans by 3–4 points.

How can we be on par with 2008 when Obama and Hillary were talking about immigrants needing to learn English, getting fined, getting deported and going to the back of the line to enter the country?

Anyone voting for a Democrat today is a lunatic. If that data is accurate this country is lost.

Not sure but this is the current data OTD

2008: D+12.0 (Final: 10.7)

2018: D+4.0 (Final: 8.4)

2026: D+7.7 (Final: TBD)

Indians are an absolute scourge. @Analog1888 shit like this is exactly why I prefer Mexicans.

Texas isn't going to go blue because of Mexicans. Its gonna be the Indians and Muslims who flip it.

I have an uncle who is Indian. He was born in Goa, British India. So Goa was a Portuguese colony, so he is Roman Catholic.

He says he was born in British India, not India, and hates Indians.
He says the only good Indian is a dead Indian.

Not in the immediate but in about 15 years I see it. The Texas Triangle metro from DFW to Houston to Austin is overrun with Indians and Muslims. The Mexicans vote Republican more often than not but it will get diluted by blue state migrants and immigrants

Ya thats what funny about it. In places like Texas youre going to get insular immigrant communities rise up and fight against the local population

People dont realize the damage Greg Abbott did to Texas. That state had a unique white-mexican American/Tejano culture and now its just whatever.

But hey GDP went up!
