Not happening anyway...the casualties would be significant-no one wants another couple thousand dead and a quagmire like Iraq turned out to be with the insurgency. So Trump is kind of screwed...the current situation is a no win-we did not anticipate them being able to close the strait with some cheap drones and the regime is going nowhere.

I don't think we need boots OTG to finish them. We have plenty of rather large bombs- MOAB, bunker busters, that can simply be dropped from the air.
