I would say we had "minor to moderate" hail damage from the storms the other day.

The front and back of the house are fine, but there are a lot of holes in the siding on the two sides.

The roof is fine, thank God, but two of the basement windows are broken on the one side.

My car has a lot of dents, but the glass is fine.

This is the biggest hole in the siding.

And the next one is one of the dents in my car.

I have been reliable with payments. It's a local guy here, so hopefully they'll be ok.

Dare I say it, Monday could be 'chilly' here.

Could easily be Newark's hottest July ever. Surprising that CPC wasn't more bullish on above normal temperature possibilities for July in the Northeast in the end of month outlook.

If the models are right there will be a big trough in the East in 2 weeks with below normal temps for an extended time. Larry Cosgrove has been steadfast about this since May. Hopefully that is the case.

The 6z HRRR kind of agrees with the GEMLAM.

I bottomed out at 82 last night. I'm on the north shore end of LI so the weak sea breeze from the ocean didn't get to me to drop me into the 70s.

New 12z HRRR still kills the heat on the coast with the sea breeze after getting to 105 in NYC and Queens:
